Product Overview
PET felt acoustic panels answer the sustainability brief: a thermoformed board made largely from recycled polyester fiber that absorbs mid- and high-frequency sound while looking like a design finish rather than a treatment. Standard hexagonal tiles in the roughly 300–600 mm range snap together into honeycomb feature walls, and the material CNC-cuts cleanly into custom shapes, logos and baffles without fraying edges. Absorption is honest for what it is — NRC of about 0.5–0.8 depending on thickness and mounting — so the panels work best for speech-band control in offices, restaurants and schools, with an air gap behind the tiles recommended to lift low-frequency performance. Flame-retardant grades meeting GB 8624 B1 or EN 13501 classifications are available and should be specified with matching test reports for public buildings. Manufacturers listed here supply tile systems in full color ranges plus custom cutting, hanging baffles and desk dividers from the same material.
