Product Overview
Telescopic cylinders solve the dump-truck geometry problem: several meters of tipping stroke from a body-mounted envelope only a fraction as tall. Stages nest inside each other and extend in sequence — the largest bore carrying the load first — with 2–5 stages covering most tipping applications at 16–25 MPa system pressure. Most dump bodies use single-acting gravity-return cylinders (the body weight retracts the stages), but applications with negative loads or speed requirements need double-acting designs or counterbalance/load-holding valves to control retraction and mid-stall behavior. Stage rods are induction-hardened and hard-chrome-plated against the abrasive reality of construction sites. Manufacturers listed here build to truck-body drawings — front-end trunnion mounts are the common format — and validate each cylinder for sequence timing, stage synchronization and rated load across the full stroke before shipping.
